First Post

My bags are are packed and I’m ready to go – well nearly. I can’t wait to see the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

  1. I agree, these are so wonderfully representative of so many different people who grace this beautiful place. We are so appreciative of Zoe’ s talent and willingness to work so hard with MOF. Maria

  2. Nice to see the pictures of Walsenburg, La Veta and the surrounding area. I would spend my summers in Walsenburg with my grandparents as a young child. Many memories, and a good period in time for America (50’s and early 60’s). My grandparents; John & Grace Kissell lived northwest of town behind the old power plant.
Small towns are still the best places to live, and your photos have captured the people, buildings and landscape.
As a photographer, I do landscapes and love old building that have been left behind and no longer used.
If you have time, travel to San Luis, Colorado’s oldest town (62 miles from Walsenburg), and see the mission there.
Send me an e-mail address and I will send some pictures of the area.
    Gary L.
